What We Believe

We believe that salvation is a free gift from a gracious God and we can do nothing to earn our salvation.

(Ephesians 2:1-10)  "That it is by grace that we are saved, through faith and that not of ourselves, it is a gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast."  Ephesians 2:8-9

We believe the gift of eternal llife and salvation is based entirely on God's grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.

(John 14:6 and 1 Corinthians 12:3)

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, completely trustworthy, written in human language to provide us what we ned for life today and life ini eternity.  (Romans 10:17, 2 Timothy 3:14-16, Hebews 4:12)

"That we cannot by our own reason or strength believe in Jesus Christ our Lord, or come to Him; but the Holy Ghost has called us by the Gospel, enlightened us with His gifts, sanctified and keeps us in the true faith."

That God communicates all of the gifts of His grace to us by way of His means of grace - His Word and Sacraments. (Holy Baptism and the Lord's Supper)
