Pastor Neugebauer accepted the Divine Call as Pastor to Christ the King Lutheran Church in 1995. Pastor Chuck is a Delaware native, joined the Navy after high school and played with the Navy Band five years. He received his Bachelors Degree in English from the University of Delaware and went on to earn his Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Upon graduation, Pastor Chuck was Called to serve as a church planter in Gallatin, Tennessee, where he was instrumental in the establishment of Trinity Lutheran Church. He then moved to Lynnfield, Massachusetts as Pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church until his Call to Memphis.  He transitioned to the role of Senior Pastor in 1997.

Pastor Chuck and his wife Diane have four grown sons four beautiful granddaughters and three adorable grandsons. He is an avid sports fan, especially football and basketball and supports the New England Patriots, Memphis Tigers and Memphis Grizzlies. Pastor Chuck is a gifted writer, powerful preacher, enjoys reading and loves music of all genres. He is grateful that God called him to an area with such a rich musical heritage and exceptional food.
