Comfort Dog Ministry

Job 42:5  "My ears had heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you."

JOB Comfort Dog has arrived and is busy learning about all the opportunities to offer comfort to CTK Church & School, the city of Memphis and the surrounding community.  Job is a dual vested comfort dog. This means he is a K-9 Comfort Dog (Blue Vest) AND a Kare-9 Dog (Camo Vest).  Being dual vested allows JOB's ministry to comfort and support more people including our veterans.

JOB Comfort Dog greets congregational members each Sunday and attends services.  He listens quietly to Bible passsages, sermon and the congregation singing ~ he does not join in the singing!

JOB has visited Kirby Pines, Solana, FedEx Family House, Calvary Union Mission, Room in the Inn and Methodist Hospital.   He has listened to stories read by students at CTK with our Paws for Reading program, will attend Christmas Village, has visited and "read" Bedtime Stories and Christmas Stories to children of the congregation and most recently travelled to Chattaooga to offer comfort and support to the familes, school children and community following the tragic school bus accident.

There is never a charge or fee for JOB's Ministry.

JOB and his volunteer handlers expenses are funded through the generosity of donors. If this is a ministry you would like to support financially, please click on the PAYPAL button below!
